A Lineup of Natural Ingredients to Repel Rats

  1. White Vinegar and Cotton Balls

White vinegar has a fairly strong smell. You can find it easily in the kitchen, so it can be used to get rats out of the house. Its strong aroma alone is enough: rats will leave because they cannot stand the pungent smell.

To use it, make small balls out of cotton, then soak them in the white vinegar you prepared. Always wear gloves when handling white vinegar, then place the balls at the rats' nest. When the cotton dries out, soak the balls in vinegar again until the rats have definitely left their den.

  1. Pepper

You are surely familiar with this kitchen spice, but this time you can use it against rodents. Rat glue is one last-resort solution if these natural ingredients cannot drive rats out of the house. After all, rats are animals that can pass many kinds of dangerous disease on to humans.

You can use pepper as a natural ingredient that works well at repelling rats. Just sprinkle ground pepper in spots where these rodents like to hang out. After that, the rats are sure to leave because they cannot stand its strong smell and spicy taste. Your home will then be free of this disease-carrying pest.

  1. Used Tea Bags

These days, people prefer to make tea with tea bags because it is much more practical. Besides being practical, tea in this packaging also keeps the water in the cup free of loose tea bits that were not filtered well. Unfortunately, the bags are often thrown away right away because they are considered useless.

Those bags of tea can in fact be used to drive rats out of the house. Place the used bags in corners of rooms that rats like. The strong smell of tea can drive the pests away, but you can also rely on rat glue if these three methods do not drive the rodents out of the house.

A house has several spots that give rats very safe shelter. That is why rats like to hide and live here, especially when there are plenty of food scraps for them to eat. You can get rid of them with natural ingredients, or with Cap Gajah (Elephant Brand) glue if these ingredients no longer work.
